Creative Week: Cooking and Learning

Creative Week: Cooking and Learning

This year, our Creative Week focused on the culinary arts, an educational experience that involved all the students in the school. Throughout the week, the children participated in cross-curricular activities integrating areas such as language, mathematics, environmental studies, and social sciences, especially for the older students. The youngest children, in early childhood education, worked on age-appropriate activities, with an educational and meaningful approach.

One of the central activities was the visit to different Barcelona’s Markets. There, the students explored stalls, learned about local products, and took part in culinary workshops led by professional educators. This experience allowed them to learn how to cook delicious dishes while discovering the importance of healthy and sustainable eating.

The highlight of the week was the last afternoon when families were invited to taste the creations the students had prepared that morning. Despite the rain, the event moved indoors to the classrooms, where works and photographs from the week’s activities were also displayed. It was a shared space full of smiles and connections, the perfect cherry on top of a week filled with learning and enriching experiences.
