25 Jun Effective coexistence and emotional well-being
The TEI Program, peer tutoring, is a distinguished global initiative to enhance coexistence and prevent violence in educational settings. Backed by scientific evidence from multiple reputable universities, the program’s efficacy is underscored by research such as the “Effectiveness of the TEI Program for bullying and cyberbullying reduction and school climate improvement” study conducted by Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
Central to the TEI Program is the cultivation of emotional competencies (including awareness, empathy, empowerment, and individual and group commitment) as proactive measures to deter negative behaviours.
Throughout the academic year, our 5th and 3rd-grade students participated in collaborative activities within the framework of this program, engaging in regular meetings and fostering ongoing dialogue to promote positive interactions at school.
Students gathered during the final week of classes to celebrate the culmination of a successful year fostering harmonious relationships to commemorate their achievements in promoting a culture of mutual respect. This positive trajectory will be sustained as they transition into 4th and 6th grades next academic year.
