06 Mar SHARED READING CREATES BONDS
Engaging in shared reading experiences fosters unique connections. Within our educational environment, we facilitate opportunities for this interaction. Students in the 1st and 6th grades participate as “reading partners” regularly, deriving enjoyment from their joint reading activities.
The journey of acquiring literacy skills is significantly enhanced when undertaken collaboratively. This developmental process unfolds throughout a student’s academic career, beginning with the excitement of writing their names and culminating in the composition of intricate texts across various languages.
Sharing readings creates very special bonds. At school, to make it possible, 1st and 6th graders “reading partners” meet periodically and enjoy reading together.
