Sharing readings creates very special bonds. At school we create spaces to make it possible. 1st and 6th graders “reading partners” meet periodically and enjoy reading together. The adventure of learning how to read and write is more stimulating when it is shared with somebody else. It is a process that evolves throughout schooling: from the excitement of writing their names to the creation of complex texts in different languages.
